Look What I Got

I got an award!!!! Well it's really just a piece of paper, but I'm very excited nonetheless. I recently entered four pieces of art in a local gallery show and last evening was the opening reception for the show. Most of the art entered is oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings; with a small amount of fiber art and mixed media mixed in. Well one of my art quilts "Summer Blooms" from this blog post, won the First Lady's Choice Award. I'm thrilled.


Do you remember this photo of all these fabrics I've been creating? I shared a brief step-by-step with you on how I created them, but now I've created a more in-depth tutorial on creating them. You will find this tutorial over on the free projects page at Two Creative Studios, here. I named the document Faux Batik Fabric. Be sure to check it out along with all the other great free projects that Sue and I offer.


And guess what I made???? Yes, another Folder-Folio. Oh and guess what else? I'm writing a tutorial on how you can make your very own Folder-Folio. Be watching for that in the near future.
