Happy November 1st

Can you believe it's November already? Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then the Holiday Season will be upon us.

Do pumpkins grow on trees?
Of course not, just trying to make you smile.

This past Saturday, we went to AmicalolaFalls
It is so beautiful there, I thought I would share a few pictures.

Here is one of the falls, there are alot of trees at the top and hard to get a great picture:

I hope everyone had a great day today.

Marriage can be beautiful

I thought I would share a few things about me and about marriage. I married and divorced twice(my husband has also) while following worldly ways. I met my third husband 12/05. I married my 3rd husband May 3, 2008.

This picture is when where we married in Gatlingburg, TN. The next week we flew to Cancun, Mexico and had another ceremony. We tried worldly ways for a couple of years then in July 2008, it was either follow Gods way and act right or divorce again. We started reading the bible and going to church. Our lives have changed alot over the past two years, some good some bad but now I turn to God instead of other worldly choices. I have learned you choose to love someone and care for others, it doesn't just happen naturally for most people. The picture below is where we married in Cancun, Mexico.
Just remember the next time you might get angry with a spouse or anyone. Jesus shows us love and we should show others eventhough sometimes it might be hard.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (New International Version)
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Something Beautiful Mondays Link Party

Something Beautiful I never thought this would be so difficult for me to decide what to post. It is difficult because there are so many beautiful things in the world. It made me realize that i need to thank God for the many beautiful things each day. I hope this post will remind you to see the beautiful things in life.

Nancy, at The Trinket Collector participated in our set challenge at PBS Swappers (Please come join us, alot of us are new however there are many experienced paper crafters too) Nancy posted this wonderful creative box and tag set. Then, she surprised me -- she sent it to me. The little box was full of goodies too :) Its a mini box, with a mini dominoe and mini goodies inside. I dont know how long you have been visiting me but I love mini stuff. So a big thank you to Nancy.

Today I want to share this verse:
Mark 12:31 (New International Version)
31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

This is a practice atc card called

Time Flies. Doesnt it?
Well, tomorrow I am going to share with you another hobby I enjoy....Sewing.
Heres a little peak:
I usually leave you with a short verse but today I want to leave you with this...Hopefully it will touch someone or it is what someone needs to hear today.
Psalm 25 (New King James Version)
Psalm 25
A Psalm of David.
1 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

4 Show me Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.

6 Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.

8 Good and upright is the LORD;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
9 The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth,
To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 For Your name’s sake, O LORD,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

12 Who is the man that fears the LORD?
Him shall He[a] teach in the way He[b] chooses.
13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity,
And his descendants shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD,
For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me,
For I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses!
18 Look on my affliction and my pain,
And forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many;
And they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all their troubles!

The Rooster Party

Barb over at Bella Vista is hosting the Rooster Party when I saw that I knew I had to sign up.
WELCOME
Happy Rooster Party!!!!!
This little guy got his party hat(I made him with paper and a piece of the chestnut tree for the top and a little lace around the bottom)
Here is the full view of the little straw rooster with his party hat; on his way back to the kitchen because all my roosters must stay in the kitchen.

In my kitchen....
Starting with the cafe curtains I made:

This little metal sign hangs on the pantry:

This Rooster is cast iron, it could hold napkins but he just sits on the old chippy shelf in the corner.

I love this one, it is suppose to be a latchhook rug but who could step on this. My husband made a frame of old barn wood for me so we didnt step on this nice rooster.

This little roosters in his cage.....with a little red geranium to keep him company.

This is the morning call rooster and he is 3D....gotta love that in a rooster :)

Well thats all for now, I better get some water:

Enjoy the party, thanks for coming. I leave you with this today.

1 Corinthians 10:31 (New International Version)

31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
